Who We Are
We are a group of trained volunteers who work with optometrists to provide basic vision care.
We believe in the value of all people. We believe that too many people around the world suffer from correctable vision problems and correctable “blindness” due to economic and social problems that exist in their societies.
Through generous donations, we purchase large quantities of high-quality reading glasses, prescription frames and lenses. This enables us to give out free glasses, fitting them to each person we serve.
Since 2004, the Into Focus Ministry has helped over 53,000 people.
Internationally, we've held vision clinics in: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Liberia, Mexico, Peru, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Locally, we've served people in: health fairs and homeless shelters in downtown Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, and the Antelope Valley.
