Into Focus plans two or more short-term trips a year to parts of the world where vision care is needed and where we can be most effective in spreading the love of Christ. Sometimes, the only way to get into a country and meet people is by offering a health service.

For these trips, we recruit more medical staff and trained optometrists, in addition to our regular volunteers, so we can provide even better health care at our clinics.

We have held mobile vision clinics all over the world, including Bolivia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Liberia, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Tanzania and Uganda. 

South Africa Oct 6-17, 2023

Our partner in South Africa goal is to establish generational changes to the community that would allow them over time to rise out of the oppression they have endured for so many years and walk in the truth and freedom found in Christ. There is absolutely no affordable vision care available for most of the community. Being able to see effects the ability to learn, work and prosper. We can have a powerful impact in both the prison and the township as we help people regain their eyesight and pursue a better future.

We will train you in advance with the vision testing process, as well as how to share some encouraging words and the Gospel message.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC PRISON MINISTRY TRIP

Dec 3-10, 2022

Into Focus Vision will be returning to the Dominican Republic in Dec 3-10, 2022, to work in prisons.

We will be using the eye glass ministry to show the inmates the love of Jesus so we can tell about the love of Jesus. 

This will be our 3rd time partnering with MOTE (Missions On The Edge). MOTE has been ministering in the prison for many years in the Dominican Republic.

• Each person will be trained how be a part of the vision testing and eye glass clinic.
• The cost of the trip in $2300.00 which includes travel and accommodations.
• Accommodations are shared bungalows in small private facility
• Pre trip Negative COVID test will be required.
