Ways to Serve

There are several ways to volunteer with Into Focus Vision:

If you like talking with people, we need you to serve at our reading glass stations, here in the local community, in Mexican prisons once a month, and on 10-12 day international trips. We will train you to perform a near vision test!

People with technical skills willing to learn how to use our AutoRefractor, Phoropter, and assemble glasses.

People who can cut fabric, iron, and sew! We need volunteers to make our cloth eyeglasses cases. You can do this from home on your own time or you can join us when we get a group together for our All Serve Day (typically in November.)

Monthly donors and trip supporters:

All our volunteers who serve on 10-12 day international trips fundraise to cover the expenses of their trip. You could pay the way for an eager volunteer to serve.

Our reading glasses, eyeglass frames and lenses are not donated to us. We purchase brand new readers, frames and lenses in bulk from reputable suppliers in the U.S.A.
